In a short but intensive process the Regional Director consulted with
various persons and groups and met with the Executive Committee of the
Board of Trustees. Considering various options, the Executive Committee
proposed to change the current Leadership Team from three to two persons,
and the name of Rev. Arnold was nominated for the position of rector.
After approval from the leader of the World Mission Department, Dr.
Louie Bustle and the responsible General Superintendent Dr. James Diehl,
a mail ballot was sent to the Board of Trustees.
Klaus Arnold has served on the faculty of EuNC as lecturer, and has
been the Administrative Manager for the last 8 years. He has been a
pastor in the Southwest Germany district and served congregations in
Seligenstadt, Büsingen and Gottmadingen. He is a graduate of EuNC
and Nazarene Theological Seminary. He and his wife Martina have two
children, Dorothee and Kathrin.
With the new leadership coming from within the college, the vote signifies
a strong support for what has been accomplished in recent years and
a desire for this development to be continued. As a college, we can
be proud of this sign of confidence. It also means that the leadership
transition will be smooth and without much major change.
We ask you to continue to lift up the school in your prayers as it
continues to move forward into the future.
