Dr.
Corlis McGee Elected President of Eastern Nazarene College
 European Nazarene College is both proud and sorry to announce
that our rector of six years,
Dr. Corlis McGee, has been elected as the new president of Eastern Nazarene
College in Boston. Proud, because this is a wonderful opportunity
for Corlis and we congratulate her on her election, but obviously
sorry because her loss will be felt here in Büsingen.
There have been many changes and improvements
to EuNC in the six years that she
has been here including the purchase and renovation of the new
Welcome Centre, the purchase of the Herblingerstrasse 3 house, the installation
of a campus computer network, and the expansion of the Extension Programme
in the C.I.S.
The
election of a new rector is a process that involves General Superintendent
Dr. James Diehl, Director of World Mission Dr. Louie Bustle, Eurasia Regional
Director Dr. Gustavo Crocker, and EuNC's Board of Trustees.
The process has already begun although the length of time that will be
required is unknown. We believe that
God has been guiding this process, both in the life of Dr. McGee and that
of EuNC and we look forward to His direction over the course of this selection.
Regardless of the future direction, EuNC has been very blessed
to have Dr. McGee during these years and we look forward to hearing good
things from Eastern Nazarene College because of her leadership there. |
